Rural Environmental Registration Campaign in Cachoeiras de Macacu

The Socio-Environmental Action Institute, through the Ação Macacu Project, will promote a Rural Environmental Registry (CAR) campaign with the aim of assisting rural property owners in Cachoeiras de Macacu in regularizing their properties.

Goal
Regularize rural properties, including new registrations in the CAR;
Correct existing registrations, ensuring compliance with environmental requirements.
Date and Location
The first joint effort will be held on May 11th and the others will always take place on the last Friday of the month. The meeting place is at the Socio-Environmental Action Office, located on Highway RJ 116, KM 38 – in front of Parque da Cidade.
Required Documents
Participants must bring the following documents to complete or update the registration:
Land documents: deed, RGI, purchase and sale agreement, ownership document or rural union document;
Personal documents of the owner: ID, CPF and proof of residence;
Document from the Federal Revenue Service: ITR (Rural Land Tax);
Document from INCRA: CIR;
Plan or location of the property: sketch, map or ability to identify the area in satellite images.
Why participate?
Regularization with the CAR is essential for compliance with environmental legislation, in addition to enabling access to benefits such as financing and sustainability incentive programs.
The Ação Macacu Project is carried out by Ação Socioambiental with the support of FUNBIO, through the Floresta do Amanhã program, an initiative of SEAS-RJ, via the Fundo da Mata Atlântica.
